Clapham is a district within the London Borough of Lambeth in South London. The districts of Clapham and Stockwell together has a combined population of around 67,000 (2011 estimate). Clapham is divided into three wards or neighbourhoods called Clapham Common, Clapham Town and Thornton.

The most prominent feature of Clapham is the 89-hectare (220 acre) public park known as Clapham Common. There are a number of shopping streets in Clapham, among them Clapham High Street, Clapham Old Town, Abbeville Road, Queenstown Road, Clapham Junction, Northcote Road, Balham High Street, Nightingale Lane and Acre Lane, among others.

How to reach Clapham

You can take the London Underground Northern Line to three of its stations in Clapham, namely Clapham North Tube Station, Clapham Common Tube Station and Clapham South Tube Station.
