Surin Beach (GPS: 7.97538, 98.27838), or Hat Surin, is a beach on the central western part of Phuket. It faces Ao Surin, or Surin Bay, between Pansea Beach and Laem Singh Beach. It is separated from Bangtao Beach by the headland of Laem Son. Between Surin Beach and Pansea Beach is another smaller headland.

Surin Beach is also known as Hat Surin Yai, or "Big Surin Beach", as Pansea Beach is also called Hat Surin Noi (Small Surin Beach). The latter became popularly known as Pansea Beach after a now defunct resort by that name was built in the area.

Surin Beach is popular among the locals, particularly the folks from Phuket Town coming over for some recreation. There are four luxury resorts in this area namely Amanpuri, Chedi Phuket, Manathai and Tree Tops Arasia.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
