Bangtao Beach, Phuket

Bang Tao Beach (GPS: 7.98953, 98.28978), or Ao Bang Thao, is a bay in Central Western Phuket. It forms a crescent-shaped curve facing north. The coastline of Bangtao Beach has a number of resorts, among them Andaman Bang-Tao Bay Resort, Bangtao Beach Chalet, Bangtao Beach Resort & Spa, Bangtao Village Resort and Rydges Amora Beach Resort.

Located further inland from Bangtao Beach is the Muslim village of Ban Bang Thao.
