Within Walking Distance of York Hotel

Although York Hotel is located in the Orchard area, it is quite a distance from Orchard Road. It is on a quieter, residential part of Orchard. On the other hand, it is near to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre and Paragon Medical Centre so if your purpose of coming to Singapore is for healthcare purposes, this may be a convenient play to stay. Mount Elizabeth Hospital is just a short distance down the road from York hotel.

Nearest Public Transport to York Hotel

Again, York Hotel is quite isolated, and you will probably be dependent on the taxi. Otherwise, the nearest bus stop is on Orchard Road, some 15-20 minutes walking distance away.

Getting to York Hotel

Your best option is to take the taxi from the airport. If you are lugging heavy bags, I would not advise you to take the bus or MRT.
