Whampoa River is a minor river in Singapore. It was named after Cantonese tycoon Hoo Ah Kay (1816-1880), who became known in Singapore as "Mr Whampoa", after his birthplace of Whampoa near Guangzhou, in recognition to his contribution to Singapore.

Whampoa River passes through Novena and Kallang to flow into the Kallang River. Whampoa River is crossed by Kim Keat Road, Whampoa Drive, the Central Expressway, Serangoon Road and Bendemeer Road.
