Larut Road, SingaporeLarut Road, Singapore

Larut Road is an expunged road in Rochor, Singapore. It used to connect Pasar Lane with Weld Road. The area is renowned for its street side flea market, the Sungei Road Flea Market.

The road has been expunged to since at least 2016, firstly for the construction of the Jalan Besar MRT Station, and later on in preparation for River Peaks I & II, a HDB Build-To-Order (BTO) project. River Peaks will offer a total of 960 units of 3-room and 4-room flats. Since these flats are built only upon order, construction of Peaks I & II will only commence if the number of units in demand exceeds 70%.
