Frog Island (GPS: 1.40481, 103.98872) is a rocky islet also known as Pulau Sekudu. It is located off Chek Jawa on the south coast of Pulau Ubin, across from the Serangoon Harbour at Changi. According to local folklore, once three animals challenged each other to swim across the channel from Singapore to Johor. The three were a pig, an elephant and a frog. All three failed to reach the other side. The frog was turned into Frog Island, while the pig and the elephant became Pulau Ubin.
