Sandilands Foreshore (GPS: 5.40557, 100.32995) is a block of affordable housing project in George Town. Located across from Sandilands Street, it occupies a city block bounded by Bridge Street (Jalan C.Y. Choy) and the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway. Sandilands Foreshore has 482 units of affordable homes and 321 units of low medium cost units. It is being developed by the Tah Wah Group for the State Housing Department.

Sandilands Foreshore comprises a 48-storey block (Parcel A) and a 39-storey block (Parcel B). Parcel A will house affordable housing, with 402 units at 900 sqft floor area and 80 units at 800 sqft floor area. Parcel B will have 321 units of low medium-cost housing at 700 sqft floor area.

Traffic at Sandilands Foreshore

Traffic along Jalan C.Y. Choy fluctuates from moderate to very heavy depending on time of day. Traffic on this stretch of the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway is usually heavy, with congestions building up towards the intersections of Cecil Street Ghaut and Macallum Street Ghaut.
