Subang Bestari is a township in the northern part of Shah Alam, Selangor. History
Subang Bestari was established during a period of rapid suburban expansion across the northern Klang Valley. As Shah Alam continued to grow beyond its original planned sections, new townships were developed to accommodate the increasing demand for housing generated by the region's expanding population and economy.2
The township occupies land that was formerly agricultural, particularly rubber and oil palm plantations.
