Department of Museums Malaysia (GPS: 2.19218, 102.24869) is the managing body for the government-run museums in Malaysia. The southern branch office is housed in a 2-storey building on Jalan Kota in Malacca, within the same row as many of the museums in the area. As with most of the buildings on that row, it dates to the Dutch era.
