In the old days, each state in Malaysia would have only one museum, which is the depository of all the state's keepsakes. Not anymore. Nowadays, there is a museum for practically any imaginable topic, with history-rich states like Malacca and Penang vying to outdo each other on number of museums. The private sectoar has also joined in the fray in coming up with their own museums. On this page I catalog the museums in Malaysia that I have discovered, listing them by state and individually.
