Jalan Telaga Air is one of the major roads in Butterworth, Penang. It cuts roughly diagonally across, to connect the Old Jetty Road (Jalan Jeti Lama) on the west with Jalan Permatang Pauh on the east.
Jalan Telaga Air begins at the intersection with Jalan Bagan Luar and Jalan Kampung Gajah. On the eastern side, it ends at the intersection with Jalan Siram and Jalan Raja Uda. Like Jalan Jeti Lama, this area has a distinct Indian character, due to its proximity to Jalan Kampung Benggali. There are a number of Indian newsagents along the road as well as quite a number of Indian florists.
A number of roads form junctions with Jalan Telaga Air. They include Jalan Kampung Benggali, Jalan Mengkuang, Jalan Pak Abu, Jalan Bagan Vista, Lorong Chempa and Lorong Kubor.
