Jalan Tekong (25 May 2013)
Jalan Tekong is a minor road on the outskirts of George Town. Accessed from Jalan Singapura, it is one of the three roads in the neighbourhood named after islands in Singapore. Jalan Tekong is named after Pulau Tekong, the second largest island in Singapore that is still being enlarged through land reclamation.
Jalan Tekong is connected on either ends by Jalan Samak and Jalan Berani. It is parallel to Jalan Bukom and Jalan Ubin.

Getting there
Jalan Tekong is not served with a bus route. The nearest bus stops are at Dato Kramat Road. Rapid Penang Bus 11, 102, 201, 202, 203, 204, 304 and 502 pass through Dato Kramat Road.List of Streets in Penang and Streets in Malaysia
