Jalan Garuda, Bayan Lepas (9 February 2018)
Jalan Garuda is a minor road in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The road connects on one end to Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. As part of the Penang International Airport complex, it serves the government quarters and airport auxiliary services of the Department of Commercial Aviation. As such parts of the road is off limits to the public. Nevertheless, there is a Malay food stall called Cherry Tomyam on the road, just before the checkpoint.

14 March 2024The Star reports that airport staff quarters on Jalan Garuda will make way for the airport expansion. Most of the airport staff have already moved to affordable housing in Teluk Kumbar.
