Jalan Batu Uban is the main road in the Batu Uban neighbourhood of Gelugor, Penang. It climbs up the hill to provide access to a number of high-rise residential properties. The road then forms a T-junction with another branch that slopes down to meet the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway.
Jalan Batu Uban also connects with the Batu Uban village, which has the oldest mosque on Penang Island. Due to its proximity to the Penang Bridge, and also because it connects two major roads, Jalan Batu Uban often become heavily congested during rush hours, particularly in the evening.
Jalan Batu Uban is not served by public transport. The nearest bus stops are along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah (Rapid Penang bus 102, 301, 303, 304 and 401) and Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway (Rapid Penang bus 401E).
