Hounslow East Tube Station has one of the most unusual station buildings of the London Underground network. It is one of the more modern stations of the line replacing an earlier station building from 1909. The new station comprises a pair of atriums with sloping roofs, on either sides of the railway tracks which crosses Kingley Road.
