Blackfriars Station (GPS: 51.51163, -0.10364) is a station of the London Underground that is located within the London Blackfriars Railway Station in the City of London. The station is at the junction of New Bridge Street and Queen Victoria Street in Travelcard Zone 1. It was closed for refurbishment from March 2009 until 20 February 2012, and is now operational.

The Blackfriars Tube Station serves the Circle Line and District Line, both between the Mansion House Tube Station and Temple Station. The station first began operations on 30 May 1870 for the Metropolitan District Line. As it is located on the northern bank of the River Thames, commuters can walk there from the Blackfriars Bridge.
