Tampines North MRT Station
(GPS: 1.36906, 103.93786; pronounce: tɛm-pə-nis) is an underground station of the Singapore MRT planned for the Cross Island Line. It is to be sited near IKEA Tampines (exact location to be added to this write-up in the future). The station will be between the Pasir Ris MRT Station and the Defu MRT Station. It is expected to be operational only in 2030. There will be two island platforms serving 4 tracks.Tampines is located in Singapore Postal District 18.
