Rotan Lane, SingaporeRotan Lane, Singapore

Rotan Lane is a minor road in the Farrer Park neighbourhood of Rochor, Singapore. It connects Race Course Road to Chander Road. Rotan Lane is best known as the road beside the Foochow Methodist Church.

Rotan Lane commemorates a time in the past when there was a village in the area involved in the rattan industry, so much so that the village was known as Kampong Rotan. There was even a mosque along nearby Chander Road known as Masjid Kampong Rotan.1
