Gombak is a spacious subzone located within the Bukit Batok Planning Area in western Singapore. Known for its natural landscapes and military presence, Gombak stands out from other subzones for its lower density and abundance of greenery. With its relatively large land size, the population density stands at just 3,978 persons per square kilometre, making it the least densely populated subzone of Bukit Batok. Between 2020 and 2024, the subzone experienced a slight population decline of -0.41%, reflecting its limited residential development compared to neighbouring areas.
