Fort Canning MRT Station (GPS: 1.29243, 103.845; DT20) is an underground mass rapid transit station for the Singapore MRT. It is part of Stage 3 of the Downtown Line, and is between the Chinatown MRT Station and Bencoolen MRT Station. The station had a working name of River Valley MRT Station before being changed to the present name. The Fort Canning MRT Station is located on Fort Canning Road, and is next to Liang Court Shopping Centre. It opened to commuters as part of Phase 3 (aka Downtown Line 3) of the line on 21 October, 2017.
