Dickson Road, Singapore
Dickson Road is one of the minor roads in the
Little India neighbourhood of
Rochor district of
Singapore. It has a one-way traffic flow nowadays, from the intersection of
Clive Street with
Upper Dickson Road and
Upper Weld Road in the northwest to
Jalan Besar in the southeast. The road was named after British colonial administrator
Sir John Frederick Dickson, after whom the coastal town of
Port Dickson in
Negeri Sembilan was also named, as was Dickson Street in
Kuala Lumpur, though it is known today as
Jalan Masjid India.
