16 Collyer Quay, Singapore

16 Collyer Quay (GPS: 1.28421, 103.8526), formerly known as Hitachi Tower, is a skyscraper at 16 Collyer Quay, in the Central Business District of Singapore. Located in the vicinity of Tung Centre, Chevron House and Change Alley Aerial Plaza, this building has 37 storeys and is 137 m (587 ft) in height. The building has a subterranean walkway connecting it to Raffles Place MRT Station. A glass galleria also connects it to Chevron House.

Hitachi Tower was completed in 1992. It was designed by Murphy/Jan Architects in collaboration with local architectural firm Architects 61 Pte Ltd. Stakeholders in the building include Hitachi, CapitaLand and the National University of Singapore.

Getting there

Take the Singapore MRT to the Raffles Place MRT Station (EW14/NS26), served by the East-West Line and North-South Line, and walk a short distance from there.
