Peking Street (Malay: Lebuh Peking; Penang Hokkien: Snar3-Tiau3 Lor33 Pnua1 ) is a short road in the Seven Streets Precinct of George Town. Sometimes also called Jalan Peking, this street was added to the Seven Streets Precinct, along with Nanking Road, after the first seven streets have already been laid. Hence it became known as Snar3 Tiau3 Lor33 Pnua3, or Second-and-a-half Street, in Hokkien.
Many of the houses in Peking Street huddled close together in this working-class neighbourhood. While the road is supposed to connect between Brick Kiln Road and Tye Sin Street, often cars cannot pass through it smoothly due to the number of vehicles parked along the road.
