Nam Seng Cafe (GPS: 5.42149, 100.32837) is a coffee shop located at the junction of Hutton Lane with Amoy Lane, George Town. It is housed in an corner shophouse that was built in the early modern style with Shanghai plaster finishing.

There is quite a number of hawker stalls at Nam Seng Cafe. Among the hawker food you can have here include wan tan mee, chicken rice and koay teow thng, among others.

My visit to Nam Seng Cafe

My wife and I had our breakfast at Nam Seng Cafe on Sunday morning of 29 July, 2018. That was when we were doing a review stay at nearby Urban H Hotel. The coffee shop is just a short walking distance from the hotel.

I ordered the Wan Than Mee and Hokkien Mee while my wife had the Pan Mee. Every item was priced at RM4.50. Drinks came to RM3.00 The items are all quite good, with the Wan Than Mee standing out as the best of the three. I almost regreted that I ordered a "small", and look forward to returning to this coffee shop and just have the Wan Than Mee, and perhaps also try their Sui Kow.
