Medan Renong Padang Kota Lama (GPS: 5.42288, 100.34074) is a food court at the Esplanade in George Town, Penang. It is a different hawker centre from the Fort Cornwallis Food Court. Medan Renong is located at a bend on Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah. The hawker centre is owned and maintained by the Penang Island City Council or MBPP.

Medan Renong comprises two separate are food court, one for halal and another for non-halal food. It is the biggest of two hawker centres at Esplanade, the other one being the Fort Cornwallis Food Court.

Getting there

There are no bus routes in the immediate vicinity. The nearest bus stop is along Light Street. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 103, 204, 502 and CAT.
