Lorong Lembah 3, Gelugor (10 January 2014)
Lorong Lembah 3 is a minor road in the Kampung Kastam part of Gelugor, Penang. It leads to the old government quarters of Kampung Kastam at Lorong Lembah 1 and 2, both of which has since been expunged.
The area was developed in the mid 1960s. Since then, subsequent development have added a school, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Datuk Haji Mohd Nor Ahmad and a surau in the area.
During the Najib Administration, an affordable housing project known as Pr1ma @ Bukit Gelugor Phase 2 was planned for the area. This was later taken over by a private developer, the Ideal Property Group, and renamed as Ideal Venice Residency. At time of update (March 2024), the property is still under construction.
Getting there
The nearest bus stop is along Jalan Lembah. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 206 and 302. Alternatively are the bus stops along Hilir Pemancar, served by the same buses.
