Lorong Bakau, Jelutong (22 October 2012)


Lorong Bakau is a minor road in the scruffy working-class neighbourhood of Jelutong, Penang. It connects Jalan Jelutong with Lebuh Bakau. Both roads are noted for its charcoal industries.

Most of the houses along Lorong Bakau are workshops and related businesses. Apart from charcoal making, other enterprises located here include machining, auto repair and similar.

Getting there

The nearest bus stop is along Jalan Jelutong. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 301, 302, 303 and 401.
