Lebuhraya Batu Lanchang is one of the major roads in Jelutong, on the southern part of George Town. It is also known as Batu Lanchang Avenue (not Batu Lanchang Highway, as wrongly stated on Google Map). It connects Green Lane in the south to Jalan Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim to the north. The road was originally a country path that was developed in stages as the area experienced residential development. By the 1980s the present route was already in place.

The other major road to connect with Lebuhraya Batu Lanchang is Lintang Batu Lanchang, also ending at Jalan Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim.
Public Transport
Lebuhraya Batu Lanchang is served by Rapid Penang Bus Route 11, 206 and 302.
