Kafe St Loo (GPS: 5.41543, 100.33474) is a coffee shop selling gu bak koay teow in George Town, Penang. It occupies a shophouse along Carnarvon Street. The hawker was formerly selling the beef noodle soup at Kedai Kopi Lam Ah, at the junction of Beach Street and Chulia Street, but relocated to Carnarvon Street.

I first discovered this gu bak koay teow stall many years back. At that time, it was my favorite gu bak koay teow stall. However, over the years, my perception of the hawker deteriorated. Over subsequent visits, I found the amount of stuff in the soup becoming less and less. Once I wanted to write about the hawker, but she told me not to photograph her. As you wish, sister.
