Jalan Pantai Acheh is a country road on the western coast of Penang Island. The road, which connects with Jalan Sungai Rusa and Jalan Teluk Bahang, leads to the Chinese village of the same name. The road to the village is hilly and winding, with the forest reaching to the road shoulder. At one corner midway along the road is the Sheikh Tahir Observatory, where sighting of new moon is carried out.
