It was completed and officially opened by the then Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng, on 31 July, 2011. Jalan P. Patto connects Lorong Bunga Tanjung 7 in the north with Jalan Mak Mandin in the south. The road was named after the late Democratic Action Party member of parliament P. Patto. The road covers a distance of 700 meters. It is a four-lane dual carriageway with two lanes in each direction.
