Jalan Baru Batu Maung is one of the main roads in Batu Maung, Penang. Its southern end forms a T-junction with Jalan Batu Maung, while its northern end continues as Pintasan Batu Maung 2, within the Pintasan Batu Maung neighbourhood. The road is commonly known among the locals in Sin3 Lor33 (新路).
Jalan Baru Batu Maung originally extends to connect with the present Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. A stretch of the road was expunged in around 1978, to make way for the extension of the runway of the Penang International Airport. The people who used to stay along that stretch were relocated to other parts of Jalan Baru Batu Maung, resulting in a rather high population concentration in the area.
Jalan Baru Batu Maung is a working-class area. The road is lined with workshops and coffee shops that cater to the lunch-time crowds from the nearby Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone. Batu Maung's only Chinese school, SJKC Wen Khai, was built here in the late 1970s.
