Jalan Balik Pulau (2 February 2013)
Jalan Balik Pulau is an important road through the central part of Penang Island. It begins as part of the Balik Pulau Hill Road at Teluk Kumbar, and ends at the junction with Jalan Air Itam, in Air Itam. In between, it passes through the pekan of Balik Pulau, and continues towards the hills, where it is reduced to a hill path. Jalan Balik Pulau reemerges as a tarred road at the Air Itam Dam, from where it descends to the pekan of Air Itam.

Getting there
As Jalan Balik Pulau is a very long road, different parts of it is served by different bus routes. On the Air Itam stretch, it is served by Rapid Penang bus 201, 203, 204 and 502. On the Balik Pulau stretch, it is served by Rapid Penang bus 401, 401E and 502.
