Jalan Alma is a major road in Bukit Mertajam. It passes through the neighbourhood also called Alma, which was formerly plantation land of the Alma Rubber Estate. It connects Jalan Bukit Minyak to the west with Jalan Rozhan to the east. On the western end, Jalan Alma starts at the junction of Jalan Megat Harun. As there is a railway line passing across the eastern end of Jalan Alma, there is now a flyover for the road to bypass the line.
The eastern end of Jalan Alma is experiencing rapid redevelopment. Most of the commercial buildings are concentrated on this end, among them Pasaraya Jaya Gading, with bigger malls on Jalan Rozhan.
