Under The Big Tree Coffee Shop (GPS: 5.38932, 100.31209) is a coffee shop along Ipoh Lane in Jelutong, Penang. It is one of the coffee shops within the vicinity of the Jelutong Market. As such, it operates only in the morning, when the market is in session. The coffee shop changed hands in October 2020 and from then on, became known as Hui Wang Cafe.
There are a number of hawker stalls here, among them the Wan Than Mee, Hokkien Char and Koay Teow Thng. The Hokkien Char here is one of my favourites.
