High Barnet Tube Station

High Barnet Station (GPS: 51.65054, -0.19426) is a station of the London Underground in High Barnet, in the London Borough of Barnet. The station, which is in Travelcard Zone 5, serves as the terminus of the High Barnet branch of the Northern Line. The next station is the Totteridge and Whetstone Tube Station, heading towards Morden or Kennington.

The High Barnet Tube Station began operating on 1 April 1872 for the Great Northern Railway. The station still retains much of its Victorian architecture from that period. However, despite improvements to the station, pedestrian access remains treacherous, as passengers have to cross busy roads to reach the station.
