Evelyn is a neighbourhood and electoral ward of London located on the south bank of the River Thames, in the London Borough of Lewisham. It is the only Lewisham ward to be beside the Thames.

The ward of Evelyn was named after English writer John Evelyn (1620-1706) who settled there with his wife in 1652. The main street in the neighbourhood is Evelyn Street, which is part of the A200 road.

How to reach Evelyn

The Deptford Railway Station is on the southeast part of Evelyn.
