East Acton Tube Station

East Acton Station (GPS: 51.51627, -0.24803) is a station of the London Underground in East Acton, in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, in Travelcard Zone 2. The station is served by the Central Line between the North Acton Tube Station and White City Tube Station.

The East Acton Tube Station was opened in 1920 for the Ealing Broadway extension of the Central London Railway. It became known as the Central Line in 1937.

At time of writing, there is a proposal to build a station called Old Oak Common Tube Station, to be sited between the North Acton Tube Station and East Acton Tube Station. If the proposal goes through, trains on the Central Line will eventually stop there on its way between North Acton and East Acton.

East Acton Station is on the Map of London Underground Lines & Tube Stations
