Bayan Central (GPS: 5.32537, 100.28479) was the original name for One Precinct, a shopping mall that is nearing completion (as of June 2012) in Bayan Baru, Penang. It is located next to Quartermile, which is still under construction.
The construction of Bayan Central was stalled for many years. For a while, it was almost an abandoned project. It was supposed to have been completed in April 1999, but has been delayed for over ten years. The shopping mall has a floor area totalling 440,640 sqft.
