About Jalan Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim

Jalan Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim is a major road in the suburb of George Town. Formerly known as Batu Lanchang Road, it links Green Lane (Jalan Masjid Negeri) to the Jelutong Main Road. Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim was a Penang politician who served as Acting Chief Minister during the term of Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu.

Until the late 1960's, the then Batu Lanchang Road was still quite rural, with vegetable lots in places where there are now high rise apartments.
