Urban Spice Cafe (GPS: 5.41502, 100.33602) is a restaurant on Acheen Street in George Town, Penang. It occupies the ground floor of the Spices by the Park Hotel. Urban Spice Cafe offers an Asian fusion fare. Among the items on the menu when I visited was roti ketam (RM18), a Nyonya dish of bread with minced chicken and crab and minced vegetables. Other items include grilled chicken sandwich (RM18), spaghetti aglio olio (RM18), prawn laksa (RM18), ayam percik (RM28) and 5-spice chicken (RM28).

I discovered this restaurant when I was doing my review of Spice by the Park. I learned that it got its name because of the collaboration with a group of artists calling themselves Urban Sketchers, whose artwork grace the walls of the restaurant.
