There are a number of stalls selling souvenirs and all sorts of traveller knickknacks such as bags, wallets and hats in Penang. Most of these are found along Penang Road and the roads branching off from it, particularly Campbell Street and Kimberley Street, as well as along the main tourist belt in Batu Ferringhi. These nameless roadside stalls cluster around the corners of road junctions. Apart from the aforementioned items, you can also get stuff like cheap sunglasses, fridge magnets and other knickknacks.
Shops along Penang Road between Keng Kwee Street and Kimberley Street sell cheap t-shirts and other traveller knickknacks.
Chop Eng Mun Seng, Penang Road (30 August 2012)
Chop Eng Mun Seng calls itself a "kedai runcit" or sunday shop. In fact it sells traveller knickknacks from hats and women's clothing to miscellaneous souvenirs.

Kimberley Street Bag Stall (30 August 2012)

KW Merit Trading is yet another shop along Penang Road selling traveller knickknacks, but mainly ladies clothing.
