Wat Mae Chon (GPS: 17.02643, 99.70286; Thai: วัดแม่โจน ) is the ruins of a small Thai Buddhist temple in Sukhothai, Thailand. The temple is most notable for its large seated Buddha statue which is in the gesture of subduing Mara. The statue is at the western end of a raised base which has steps leading up to it from the front or eastern side. A low wall is still visible on the front side of the temple, and may be the remains of a temple enclosure that once walled it on all four sides.
