Layan Beach (GPS: 8.03097, 98.28636) is a beach on the northern end of Central Western Phuket. Further north are the forested promontary of Sirinath Marine National Park. There is a visitor centre here, with is within the management of the national park.
Layan Beach faces Ao Layan, a bay that curves facing southwest. Beyond that is Laem Tho, a cape within the national park, and a cove, Ao Chun.
The inland part of Layan Beach is given over to residential development, with villas, chalets and even condominium projects. At the very north is the Layan Beach Resort and Spa.
