Phra Nang Chamathewi Monument (GPS: 18.57479, 99.00424; Thai: อนุสาวรีย์พระนางจามเทวี Anusaowari Phra Nang Chamathewi) is the monument to the queen of the Mon people who founded Lamphun, Thailand. It is located within Nong Jok Public Park on the southwest part of the Lamphun old town. The monument has become a sort of shrine to the locals. It is neatly landscaped, with statues of elephants flanking the ascending walkway towards the monument.
