Phaya Yakkharaj of Chiang Mai

Phaya Yakkharaj is a pavilion within the grounds of Wat Chedi Luang. It was built by Chao Kawila in 1800 as the shrine to two guardian spirits, or Yaksha. The guardian spirits are to protect the City Pillar of Chiang Mai.
