Thammasat University is the second oldest university in Thaland. It is located along Na Phra That Road in Rattanakosin in Bangkok, between Wat Mahathat and Bangkok National Museum. Established in 1934, Thammasat University has produced 240,000 graduates.
The name Thammasat comes from Dharmasastra, which is Sanskrit (or Pali) for literature.
Getting there
Thammasat University is located along Thanon Na Phra That, facing the Sanam Luang fields. The easiest way to reach this part of Bangkok is by taxi. Otherwise, you can also take the BTS Skytrain to the Saphan Taksin Station (S6)) and then catch a ferryboat to Chang Pier (N9).
