Tamarind Brasserie is the main restaurant at Parkroyal Penang Resort. It offers daily à la carte dishes as well as buffets on selected days. I had the pleasure of meeting up with the restaurant team to do a segment of Tim Introduces, to showcase what Tamarind Brasserie has to offer. With Miss Lim Hui Hui, the Parkroyal Marketing Communications Manager as host, I met up with Mr Wan Azmi bin Wan Omar, the restaurant manager. I was also introduced to the Restaurants, Bars & Events Manager, Mr Anthony Savaridas; the Pastry Chef, Chef Mariam binti Harun; and the Executive Sous Chef, Mr Bob Siva. It was a pleasure to get to know each of them, to meet the people who created and served Tamarind Brasserie's huge selection of dishes.
My wife and I have eaten a number of times at this restaurant. We usually went there for their buffet. The following are some of the meals we have had there.
