Buffet Lunch at Tamarind Brasserie, 11 November, 2015

Today my wife and I went to Tamarind Brasserie for lunch. We ordered the oxtail soup (RM19) to share among ourselves, and then each of us had a sandwich. My wife ordered the club sandwich (RM38) while I had the triple decker smoked salmon sandwich (RM40). The meal came with a complimentary basket of buns and butter.
I don't care much for the oxtail soup. I had expected the Western-style oxtail soup but what I got instead was the Indian Muslim style soup, like those you would get from the mamak stall. I enjoyed my smoked salmon sandwich. I am quite fond of smoked salmon (as compared to the regular raw salmon you get in sashimi). This is basically a club sandwich with smoked salmon instead of bacon.
